Alignment is a character trait that determines whether an individual is good,
evil or neutral in the realm. It can vary from 1000 (very good) to -1000 (very
evil). Neutral alignment is considered to be above -350 and below 350.
Killing opponents that are evil will increase your alignment towards good, while
killing good opponents will reduce it towards evil. Maintaining a specific
alignment can be an important part of how you roleplay your character.
Certain equipment may only be worn by characters with specific alignments.
Shopkeepers may also discriminate based upon your alignment. Certain beings
may even attack you or treat you better depending on your alignment as well.
