Long, long ago, the god Pain stumbled across a young adventurer during his
travels in a far away land. He brought the young adventurer to his world,
and eventually the young adventurer became the powerful immortal Slayer.
Now, many many years later, he is one of the most powerful of the gods. He
took the body of a Demon, and appears to mortals in the form of a cloud of
black fog. Not much else is known about this evil God, except that the
ruby pendant that he wears on a chain around his waist is an ancient artifact
of truly great power.
